As seen in the trailer below, following the events of Saints Row’s Gat Out of Hell expansion, Johnny is back where he was born – Seoul, South Korea, that is – and he’s now working as a Lieutenant in the city’s police department in Agents of Mayhem. However, the tragic events of Devil’s Night left Johnny in a coma, so after awakening almost a year later, he finds out that all of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency have been wiped out and replaced with C.O.P (Civilian Overwatch Patrol) robot units. As evidenced below, his hatred for robots and penchant for destruction make him a perfect fit as one of the Agents.

Those who are looking to acquire Johnny Gat for Agents of Mayhem can do so by pre-ordering the title at GameStop, or through Steam on PC, prior to its launch. Not only will fans get to play as Johnny Gat in the game, but also the pre-order goodies feature an exclusive unlock mission, personal mission, as well as vehicle, character, and weapon skins. Plus, as an added incentive to reserve a copy, Volition made sure to get the character’s original voice of Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii 5-0) to reprise his role.

While the inclusion of Johnny Gat will definitely spur many fans to pick up a copy of Agents of Mayhem, there may be some gamers who would like a primer of what the title’s all about before reserving it. Should that be the case, folks can check out Game Rant’s hands-on impressions of the forthcoming release to get a better idea of what kind of action Agents of Mayhem has in store for shooter fans.

Agents of Mayhem is set to release on August 15, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
